SHORTCUT

Due to a lack of time,I can’t always make consistent posts for this blog.  To get rid of all the sourceless images I have collected on my hardrive over the years, I made a tumblr.  All those forgotten images, will be posted over there from now on.  For your daily fix, you can visit SHORTCUT, for more elaborate posts on a weekly basis, you’re still welcome here.

BAT FOR LASHES

I just can’t get enough of the magical creature Natasha Khan, her mysterious music and the mysterious world she seems to live in.

MY PARENTS WERE AWESOME

On MyParentsWereAwesome.com, you can find tons of pictures of parents in their younger days, when they were still awesome.  It’s a lot of fun browsing through the images and imagining their lives before they became parents.  You can also submit pictures of your own parents!tumblr_krwciwX8lJ1qa2fy3o1_500

Chris Craymer Romance

All of these pictures are out of Chris Craymer’s book Romance.  He photographed real life couples, with heart-fluttering results.  If you click the link, you can browse the 98 pages of the book, something you most certainly should do.

the hymn for the cigarettes

I barely have any time left to blog, let alone post photographs of my own (aside from the occasional concert pictures).  Therefor, I will try to share my favourite photographers with you, to keep this blog somewhat alive.  Hopefully I can do this at least once a week.  Now tell me, who are your favorite photographers?

WILD THINGS’ FORTS

wild_things_forts_06

Over at BOOOOOOOM!, they held a competition to win some exclusive goodies from the movie ‘Where the wild things are’  (which I am sooo excited for!), all you had to do was build a fort and send in pictures.  And boy, did they build forts.  So many beautiful pictures came out of it, I couldn’t wait to share.

THINGS THAT MAKE ME SMILE

  1. My milk toof, a supercute blog about the adventures of two baby teeth.nightmare_1

  3. This shirt.Pac-Man-T-Shirt
  4. The Day of Architecture in Flanders, when you can visit several buildings which wouldn’t be open to the public otherwise.  I volunteered as a photographer, I promise more photographs will follow soon!IMG_3975kopie
  5. My life is average.  I can spend hours browsing through all the submissions.
Today, my sister and I were watching the fifth “Harry Potter” movie and my mom was on the computer. My sister was admiring the beauty of Hogwarts and said “Mom, why did we have to be muggles?” My mom replied without looking up from her computer “Speak for yourself, Squib.” Awesome. MLIA.
  6. Ilse‘s 100th post and giveaway!  Take a look.wit1
  7. Photographing my friend while dj’ing (is that even a word?) as Frecher Junge.

ALICE IN WATERLAND

Down the rabbit hole

If the title of my blog didn’t give away my love for Alice in Wonderland, maybe this post will.  The surreal world of Wonderland fascinates me like no other, and combining this with underwater photography, makes it even better.   Sugarock made this amazing set called Alice in Waterland, among other underwater projects that all of you certainly have to take a look at.  Excuse me for the ridiculous amount of pictures in one post, I couldn’t just pick a few, since they’re all marvellous.  If you want to see all 25 photographs, take a look at her flickrpage!Alice
