FRAGMENTS-Roomin-by-Hannelore-Veelaert-for-au-pays-des-merveilles

Today I don’t have an elaborate blog post for you, but instead I want to introduce you to the brand new website of Roomin. The hashtags #roominantwerp, #roominspiration and #roominsiders on social media might have already given you a heads up about what’s going on, but I still wanted to give a proper introduction to this wonderful project that I’m a part of.

Roomin is an interior design platform, for which a team of insiders beautiful homes handpicks and documents, in order to inspire you to create your own dream home.  However, we’re offering more than just inspiration because we are making sure to include all the info you need to implement your newfound inspiration in your own interior.   One of my biggest frustrations is the lack of proper credits on other blogs and the otherwise wonderful Pinterest platform, hence on Roomin you’ll always find the author of the content, the proud owner of the beautiful interior and its designer.  It is something I always strive to include in my own COLLECTION blogposts, so I’m very happy to be a part of project that takes this little pet peeve of mine to heart.

Being an insider at Roomin also means that you’ll be seeing a lot more stunning interiors photographed by me in the future!  I’ll still be creating INSIGHTS blogposts for this blog, while documenting these homes from another angle for Roomin, often in collaboration with one of my fellow insiders.

But that’s not all, Roomin is taking the interior inspiration off line, too!  Twice a year, Roomin will settle down in a different city, taking over a space and making it our home with the help of a young interior designer.  Until June 19, you can find us in Antwerp, in the apartment on the first floor above the beautiful concept store slash coffee bar St. Vincents.   This first Roomin apartment is designed by Sofie Vertongen, who you might remember from this blog post about her beautiful home. The Roomin apartment is not just a pop-up shop though (because yes, everything you see there is for sale!), but also offers yoga sessions on Sunday and interesting workshops on Thursday nights.  In other words, there’s no excuse not to stop by Kleine Markt 13 in Antwerp, or to spend the rest of the day browsing Roomin.be for your dose of roominspiration.  Enjoy!
